Anchorage Symphony Orchestra Plays Free July 4th Concert on the Park Strip

Anchorage Fairs & Festivals is bringing the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra to this year’s July 4th Celebration – it’s going to be a very special event to help commemorate not only our nation’s birthday, but Anchorage’s Centennial as well. The Orchestra will be playing a full concert starting about 6:00PM. Admission will be free to the public.

AF&F has been working hard to identify sponsors to assist with the costs associated with the additional staging, power, cover, and sound required for the performance. With the help of a grant from the Atwood Foundation, a personal gift from Dr. Jennifer Dow, and a large number of smaller individual contributions, the money is being raised to produce this exciting community event.

Anyone who wishes to help should contact Anchorage Fairs & Festivals at 907-279-7500 or via their website at https://anchoragefairsandfestivals.org.
