july 4th 2008 024The mission of the Anchorage Fairs & Festivals organization is to measurably enhance the economy, image and quality of life in the greater Anchorage area. To produce progressive and inclusive community events and grow community through celebration.

AFF is a non-profit entity organized and operated to measurably enhance the economy, image and quality of life in the greater Anchorage area. Organized and managed with a community based Board of Directors, AFF partners with top professionals in Anchorage to provide the highest quality events possible. AFF partners with a local charity to bring fun, safe, family-friendly, community events to Anchorage while benefiting a local Alaska charity.

The Anchorage 4th of July Celebration draws nearly 25,000 people to downtown Anchorage. It is the largest single day event in Alaska and includes a full day of family fun, a parade, great entertainment and true community spirit. Anchorage July 4th Celebration has partnered with other local non-profit organizations to provide fund raising and awareness opportunities through the community pancake breakfast. In addition, Veterans, further non-profit organizations, and a host of youth organizations and civic groups are involved annually.
