Trick or Treat Town
A Farewell Letter to the Community
It is with both a full and heavy heart that we’re writing to let you know, that after 24 years, 2016 was the last year of Trick or Treat Town. While we love creating Trick or Treat Town, the event has recently cost more to produce than is brought in through ticket sales and sponsorships.
It has been a great honor to have been a part of the Anchorage community all these years. We’ve hosted more than 190,000 kids and parents, 12,000 volunteers, given out more than 8 million pieces of candy, and donated more than $360,000 to community nonprofits.
Thank you for your support, and for gracing our doors year after year.
We’ve let our volunteers, sponsors and vendors know; now we want to make sure everyone in the community knows.
Thank you for 24 wonderful years!
